On Tuesday, February 23, 2021, Steven L. Permut, a shareholder at Reising Ethington P.C., will be presenting “Failed Trademarks that Enhance the English Language.” Mr. Permut is a registered patent attorney with a robust trademark practice, and he was also a professor of trademark and unfair competition law at Ave Maria School of Law.  Mr. Permut’s presentation will provide a review of trademarks that have become genericized, along with strategies for advising trademark clients at the outset of the marketing and registration process.
